Mashable launched Social Media Day in 2010 as a way to recognize and celebrate social media’s impact on global communication.
Indian Digital Club wants to spread more awareness about the importance of social media. So, we had a discussion on our group if anyone would like to attend Social Media Day meetups in their city. The response was tremendous. The responses came more than we anticipated.
Hence, we are hosting meetups, talks, and gatherings over 15+ cities on the day to talk about topics related to social media. The registration has started and the response has been great so far. The number of digital marketers and companies are participating with us for the same. We were also reaching out to our community members and brands if you have anything to cater to the social media enthusiasts & experts, now would be a good time to work with us to make it happen.
Agenda of the event:
- The organiser will give a short introduction to the event and his brand. His/her can start up the discussion.
- Then the attendees can start of their introduction and they take on their topic.
- Attendees can put across their point on a particular topic.
- The organiser can conclude the event thanking the partners and sharing a final thought on the thought.
- Cake cutting.
- Group discussion/ Networking.
Requirements for the events: Attendees, refreshments, venue and branding materials.
Cover charges: Anything between Rs. 200 to Rs. 1000 can be charged according to the duration of the event. (Some food, cake, giveaway, promotions, etc)
